Please note that we neither claim this application to be unique nor out of the ordinary. However, we are in the process of building an ecosystem of clean and lean applications to de-clutter and optimize storage usage on the device, while offer a variety of specific and relevant applications. As part of this process, we have built a set of applications, which we believe adds utility and better management of time and processes in our lives. We would like to share the same with other like-minded individuals, who are seeking an All-In-One (AIO) ecosystem of clean and lean apps to have in their devices.

Why did we create this application?
In line with our company's name, VAL-U-PRO CONSULTING GROUP, this application's objective revolves around value proposition that offers utility to users, consumers and customers, while keeping the product design simplistic enough for anyone using the app to see the value in it.

What does this app offer?
 
This app offers quick connection to the following:

14. Most importantly, quick access mobile data usage section

Why did we create this application?

We have other applications to connect with various components in a smartphone, which is part of our 100+ applications that has been in the marketplace for a while now in a diverse set of areas. However, our recent experience led us to develop this particular application specifically for connecting quickly with Network and Battery usage sections of the smartphone.

What was that experience?

There was one interesting experience in our network, where an individual who rarely uses the data and keeps the data off saw a sudden surge in the data usage. While trying to address the issue, we observed that developing an application to give quick access to key components such as Mobile Data Usage, Battery usage, Network connection settings and other listed above might assist in understanding such outliers and unusual usage experiences. 

Updated on July 19, 2022:

We came across several interesting articles on sudden surge in roaming charges during the time of travel, when we had an unusual experience of our own where we saw our bill higher than what usually used to be. Upon checking, this extra charge was for 4.83 MB of data usage during travel. While checking further, it appears that the data usage might have come from background updates, though we had set the roaming setting off and mobile data should have been off during travel. We are still trying to get a better understanding of what could have caused this 4.83 MB data usage. Furthermore, we never opted for a travel package, and was surprised to see this data charge during travel. 



Then, this application of ours assisted us to quickly go over the mobile data usage info to straighten out the facts as shared above. This experience also led us to add another button to quickly access "Network and Internet" section as well, which not only give access to Mobile data usage, but also to overall network details such as Airplane Mode, Data Saver, Tethering and more. 


You might be wondering what happened next?

After completing this investigation, we presented these facts to the mobile carrier that helped us resolve the matter, though it took away considerable time of ours in fixing this unnecessary charge. However, when researching further for similar such stories, ours turned out to be a minuscule one compared to other horror stories out there. We have shared links to some of them below. It also led us to add one more feature to this application as stated above.
