LegalDhoom presents an interesting case revolving around an actor (actress) suing a company for supposedly replacing the actor with a replica figurine.
First, we would like to start this discussion appreciating Ms Phoebe Jonas for fighting and seeking justice for what she believes in, and in the process, seeking fair compensation, especially if her face were to be utilized for the replica figurines. It would certainly be interesting and useful to see the outcome of this case for future references.
From the perspective of LegalDhoom, we would like to present our views and comments on this case.
Before we look into the details of this case, along with our comments, we would like to put forth a question whether the bobblehead/figurine used by the company looks like the actor.
The answer to this question could impact the outcome of this case. Please share your response.
