Do you know that incarceration rate, though might not be the best indicator for the criminal justice system, is highest in US compared to any other country, even more than countries supposedly having communism as the "primary" economic and social system. (This data will be made available soon)
As mentioned earlier, in this global world, what we have is a socialist, communal capitalistic environment where strategies align towards socialistic communal efforts, whereas profits and power directed to a selected few with resources. It is why gini indices are high across the globe irrespective of the nature of system in place.
